Just created this blog as a way to keep track of all the status updates on Mom. She is currently receiving her fourth pint of blood. The nurse explained that it wasn't until she was fully rehydrated that they were fully able to tell how much blood was lost. However, the good news on that is that the blood loss seems to have occurred during the surgery rather than now (which would be a sign of major problems). Dad and I are here fiddling away on our computers as Mom sleeps. It seems Aunt Teri's antics kept her up during the morning and she's plum worn own now. Still sassy though. Always.

So glad to be able to keep up with her this way. Thank you all for keeping everyone posted. Carla has been on my mind since Thursday and I have been whispering prayers all day, everyday for your entire family. Please know that as you post her specific needs...you have people interceding on her behalf. Glad to hear that she is in good spirits after going through so much in less than week!
