Carla is doing well. Her 6th chemo was on schedule, which was last Wednesday, March 30, her birthday. She is coping with the symptoms well. (Metallic taste, fatigue, upset stomach.) She goes tomorrow for another blood transfusion. That should help with the fatigue. As she says everyday should be a little better as distance from last Wednesday increases. Although she will take Avastin over the next year, the symptoms are not as severe. Her hair should grow back. This will uplift her spirits a lot. Love, Brad

My sweet mother has been there-done that . . . Lemon drops helped tremendously with the metallic taste in her mouth. Real, old-fashioned lemon drops (not lemon heads). You can find them at HEB and Hubbell & Hudson! --Amanda, a prayer warrior!
you are thought of constantly. . . know you're in our prayers. If you ever need a laugh, have a look at our facebook notes about us trying to settle into Rio. We're hoping when treatments cease & your energy is up you & Brad can come relax here at Ipanema. We'd love to have you.
