All is Not Right in the Kingdom
Restless night. Carla can't seem to relax even when she is given her pain shot. She has shortness of breath all night. Oxygen flow was increased to over 4 liters. Blood pressure is sky high at 206/98. Retaining lots of fluid. Nurse is calling the doctor to run a blood test and get an x-ray.

I woke up this morning and my almost awake brain said automatically "come on Carla"...know that even in the early morning hours you are not alone...it is hard to make that great leap out of ICU and the hovering care...things will settle...you will take it step by step and breath by breath...there are lots of old Bangkok friends pulling and praying...you have seen some blogs from some of them but I have also gotten a couple of dozen emails that I will pass on as it makes sense...for now sending my own love and support
