Restless Night

Well, I believe we slept from 1:30 till 4:00, and the rest was filled with shifting around. She began saying she has discomfort from gas this morning, and she's thirsty. But the nurse said I could only give her ice chips because they don't want to introduce any extra fluids into her aside from what she is getting via IV. The nurse also said they can't give her anything for the gas pain because it would make her respirations less effective, which btw, are doing much better and she has been without the O2 mask since 6:20pm yesterday. They did a chest xray here in the room shortly after 4:00 this morning. We've brushed teeth. Megan, I pray she will be resting peacefully when you come!
